Welcome to Community Mediation Solutions (CMS), a not-for-profit, Community Interest Company (CIC) committed to supporting and strengthening our communities through effective mediation.

Our communities face unprecedented stress due to high taxes, increased food and fuel costs, and a widespread "cost of living crisis." With more food banks than McDonald's, and schools under immense pressure with insufficient budgets, we recognize the urgent need for community-driven solutions. Schools are forced into unsustainable cutbacks, and teachers are often underpaid for their extensive hours. Our children need stability and nurturing from great teachers who can foster their interests.

Recent years have shown that the best way to address these issues is at a community level rather than relying on local or central government. During the pandemic, we clapped for NHS staff risking their lives, yet many of these heroes relied on food banks. It was the community that supported them, just as it is the community that donates food for those in need. Until the broader economic situation improves, we must work together to ensure our children grow up happy, healthy, and educated.

At CMS, we harness the spirit of local action to address current issues and build resilient communities. Our mediation services are designed to help families and children who are often victims of external factors creating confusing and stressful situations. By resolving initial problems through mediation, we aim to avoid the additional stresses of expulsion and create a supportive environment. We also offer life coaching to children, broadening their outlook with a positive focus.

We offer a free mediation service for both schools and parents to hopefully prevent the expulsion of children. This service fosters open, respectful discussions where everyone, including the child, can voice their perspectives. By creating a safe space for honest communication, we address the root causes of conflicts through active listening and collaborative problem-solving. Our goal is to reach mutual understanding and find resolutions that work for everyone. We believe mediation can preserve the child's educational journey, improve relationships, and build stronger school communities, promoting positive outcomes for all.
